Les interventions en école primaire démarreront en janvier!
Le projet de Sensibilisation à la Diversité Culturelle prépare une nouvelle saison d'interventions auprès de notre école primaire partenaire dans le 13e arrondissement.
Depuis mars 2011, nous proposons à des étudiants et de jeunes actifs internationaux de venir présenter leur pays et leur culture d'origine à des élèves d'écoles primaires. Grâce à nos volontaires et à notre responsable du projet, Elodie Gérôme, la dernière saison d'interventions a été un grand succès tant auprès des enfants que des institutrices.
A partir de janvier, nous vous invitons donc de nouveau à venir sensibiliser les enfants à l'importance de la diversité culturelle et de la réussite dans leurs études.
Les volontaires interviennent en équipe et accompagnés d'un ou d'une référent(e), présent(e) à chaque intervention et connaissant bien la classe. Il est indispensable d'avoir un assez bon niveau de français pour discuter avec les enfants.
Chaque mois, un pays différent est présenté aux classes. Par conséquent, chaque volontaire peut intervenir entre 1h à 4h, selon ses souhaits et ses disponibilités.
Les horaires seront les suivants:
- Lundi (2 classes): 14h-15h et 15h20-16h20;
- Mardi (1 classe): 14h-15h;
- Jeudi (1 classe): 15h20-16h20.
Afin de compléter nos équipes, nous recherchons en priorité des personnes venant de Russie, du Chili, de Chine, du Mahgreb, d'Angleterre, des Etats-Unis, d'Inde et d'Afrique Sub-Saharienne.

Interventions in primary school will start in January!
The Cultural Diversity Awareness project is preparing a new round of interventions in our partner primary school in the 13th district of Paris.
Since March of 2011, we propose to foreign students and young professionals to present their country and culture of origins to primary school pupils. Thanks to our volunteers and the Head of the project, Elodie Gérôme, the last season of interventions has been a great success among the children and their teachers.
Starting in January, we invite you again to come and raise awareness among children about the importance of cultural diversity and success in their studies.
The volunteers intervene in teams coming from the same country, and are accompagnied by a referent who is present at each intervention and knows well the class. It is necessary to have a good enough level of French to discuss with the children.
Each month, a different country is presented to the class. Consequently, each volunteer can get involved from 1 to 4 hours, according to his or her wish and availabilities.
Horaries are as following:
- Monday (2 classes): 2pm-3pm and 3:20pm-4:20pm;
- Tuesday (1 class): 2pm-3pm;
- Thursday (1 class): 3:20pm-4:20pm.
In order to complete our teams, we are looking in priority for persons from Russia, Chile, China, Mahgreb, England, United States, India and Sub-Saharian Africa.
