Bêtisier: des Livres bizarres pour Haïti / The weirdest Books for Haïti
Perles et autres livres bizarres repérés dans notre collecte 2012
Dimanche 29 juillet, notre équipe a trié et préparé environ 1000 livres à être remis à notre partenaire Bibliothèques Sans Frontières. Un grand merci à Diana, Arnaud, Brandon et Gwladys pour leur aide!!
Ecarter les livres de mauvaise qualité ou en mauvaise état, ranger les livres correspondant aux besoins des écoles et bibliothèques haïtiennes dans des cartons...
En une après-midi animée et amusante, nous sommes aussi tombés nez-à-nez avec quelques perles: titres à dormir dehors, sujets improbables et éditions répétitives (qui, parmi nos donateurs, nous a offert plus de 20 ouvrages touristiques sur l'Oman?)...

The weirdest stuff we spotted in our 2012 books collection
Sunday the 29th of July, our team sorted and prepared around a thousand books to be picked up by our partner Libraries Without Borders. A great thanks to Diana, Arnaud, Brandon and Gwladys for their help!!
Putting aside the books of poor quality or poor condition, pack the books that will respond the best to the needs of the Haïtian libraries and universities... During an animated and fun afternoon, we also came across a few really special books: awkward titles, improbable subjects, some repetitive donations (who, among our donators, is the person who gave away more than 20 tourism guides on Oman?)...
