Gérer et diriger une association sur le long terme

Le Comité administratif est le noyau dur de l'association, qui a pour objectif de gérer l'association sur le long terme et d'apporter aux chefs de projets toute l'aide dont ils ont besoin pour mener leur projet à bien. Il se compose de plusieurs entités:

• La Présidence définit la stratégie à long terme de Biblion Project et a un rôle de management du Comité administratif et des chefs de projet, ainsi que de représentation de l'association et de recherche de partenariats.
• La Vice-Présidence assiste la Présidence dans ses missions, en se concentrant davantage sur le management et la cohésion interne des différents pôles et des projets.
• La Trésorerie  gère le Pôle Finances de l'association: il est en charge de la gestion du budget, de la recherche de financements - obtention de subventions et organisation des fundraisings.
• Le Secrétariat assure le suivi administratif de l'association et est en charge du Pôle Communication, c'est à dire la stratégie de communication et de recrutement de Biblion Project.

Président(e), Vice-Président(e), Trésorier(e) et Secrétaire sont élus par nos membres lors de notre assemblée générale annuelle.
Tous nos membres peuvent également se porter candidat. La prochaine élection aura lieu  lors de notre prochaine assemblée annuelle en septembre 2011, dont la date précise reste encore à définir. Postuler à l'un de nos postes à responsabilité est un engagement sérieux auprès de l'association, à ne pas prendre à la légère. La charge de travail est plus élevée que pour les membres et les volontaires participant simplement à un projet. Cependant, la prise de responsabilités est d'autant plus valorisante, pour aquérir de nouvelles compétences et enrichir votre CV.

Si vous souhaitez faire partie du Comité administratif mais à un poste moins déterminant, nous avons d'autres offres à vous proposer ici. L'objectif de Biblion Project, outre la réalisation de projets à impact social, est la réalisation personnelle de ses membres. Nous vous proposons une expérience de terrain dans une  association déposée, au sein de laquelle vous pourrez aquérir des compétences utiles dans votre vie professionnelle et intégrer une équipe motivée et chaleureuse. Nous espérons que vous apprécierez cette expérience!
Nous vous rappelons également que Biblion Project étant une association à but non lucratif, nous ne sommes pas en mesure de rémunérer nos membres: ces postes sont proposés sur la base du volontariat.

Managing and leading an association in the long run

The Board of Directors is at the heart of the association's executive decisions, which aim at managing the association in the long run by bringing the heads of projects all the help they might need to successfully implement a project. It is composed of several entities:

• The Presidency defines the long-run strategy of Biblion Project and has a role as Chief of the Board of Directors and of the heads of projects, in addition to representing the association and seeking new partnerships.
• The Vice-Presidency assists the Presidency in its missions. He or she focuses on the internal management and cohesion of the association and its projects.
• The Treasurer manages the finances of the association: he or she is in charge of the budget, of the research of financing sources, and the organization of fundraisings.
• The Secretary ensures the administrative follow-up of the association and is in charge of communications. Duties entail developing the communication and recruitment strategy of Biblion Project.

President, Vice-President, Treasurer and Secretary are elected by our members during our yearly General Assembly.

All our members can be candidates for the elections. The next elections will take place in September 2012. Being candidate for one of our management posts is a serious involvement in our association, to be taken with caution. The amount of work is more important than as a simple member or project volunteer. However, taking this responsibility is even more rewarding, as you shall aquire new skills and competencies to boast about on your CV.

The goal of Biblion Project, beyond the carrying out of projects with a positive social impact, is the self-realization of its members. We offer our members an on-the-ground experience in an registered association. You will have the occasion to acquire new skills useful for your professional development, besides being part of a friendly and dedicated team. This experience will allow you to experience the satisfaction and fulfillment of international civic service!
