Quelques chiffres sur nos activités
Faites-vous une idée rapide de Biblion Project! En quelques chiffres, retrouvez l'historique de nos activités depuis notre création en mars 2010, jusqu'à l'été 2012.
Dans le cadre de notre projet Des Livres pour Haïti:
- Au cours de notre 3e collecte de livres universitaires à la CIUP, nous avons collecté plus de 900 livres universitaires, remis à Bibliothèques Sans Frontières en août 2012. Plus d'informations ici.
- Une participation à la Bourse aux Livres aux côtés de la Bibliothèque de la CIUP lors de la Fête de la Cité 2012. Plus d'informations ici.
- Le Brunch organisé le 11 février 2012 au Sugarplum Cake Shop a permis à l'équipe du projet de collecter 240€ auprès d'une quarantaine d'invités; soit 240 livres envoyés en Haïti! Plus d'informations ici.
- Lors de notre Journée d'Action du 26 novembre 2011 dans les entrepôts de notre partenaire Bibliothèques Sans Frontières, nous avons trié 5000 livres destinés à Haïti, et sélectionné 1300 ouvrages universitaires destinés au Centre de Lecture et d'Animation Culturelle de Yaoundé. - La campagne de collecte 2011 nous a permis de collecter 2 660 livres auprès des résidents, donateurs et de la Bibliothèque de la CIUP. Nous avons d'ors et déjà fait une promesse de don de 1 000 euros à notre partenaire Bibliothèques Sans Frontières. Plus d'informations ici.
- Lors de notre Journée d'Action du 19 février 2011 dans les entrepôts de Bibliothèques Sans Frontières, nous avons trié plusieurs milliers de livres, et avons sélectionné 2 000 livres qui ont été envoyés en mars à nos partenaires haïtiens selon leurs commandes. Plus d'informations ici.
- La campagne de 2010 menée à la Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris nous a permis de collecter plus de 1 000 livres; ainsi que 1 000€ destinés au traitement et à l'envoi des livres.
Dans le cadre de notre projet Sensibilisation à la Diversité:
Une session-pilote a été lancée en juin 2012 dans une nouvelle école partenaire: le projet comptera-t'il deux classes supplémentaires en septembre 2012? Plus d'infos ici.
De janvier à juin 2012, quatre cycles d'interventions ont été organisés. Quatre classes de l'école primaire Baudricourt ont pu découvrir les Etats-Unis en janvier (ici), puis l'Inde en mars (ici), le Cameroun en avril -mai (ici), et enfin la Russie en juin (ici).
De mars à mai 2011, trois cycles d'interventions ont eu lieu pour présenter aux élèves l'Amérique latine (Venezuela, Chili et Mexique), puis le Sénégal ( ici), et enfin la Chine ( ici).
Le Pôle Communication a organisé plusieurs évènements:
Les Rencontres Interculturelles continuent, avec notre Soirée en Espagnol organisée en juillet 2012 au bar à tapas Les Piétons. Plus d'infos ici.
Dans le cadre des Rencontres Interculturelles, Biblion Project a organisé en mai 2012 une Soirée en Anglais! Une soirée d'échange linguistique français/anglais, au Great Canadian Pub. Plus d'infos ici.
En mars 2012, Biblion Project lance sa première Rencontre Interculturelle: une soirée au siège de l'association, où tous nos volontaires et leurs invités ont pu partager un bon moment, afin de célébrer le succès du projet Diversité à l'Ecole. Plus d'informations ici.
En partenariat avec le projet Des Livres pour Haïti, nous avons mise sur pied une Conférence autour d'Haïti à la Bibliothèque de la Cité Universitaire à l'occasion de la Fête de la Cité 2011. Plus d'informations ici.
Biblion Project a participé en mars 2011 à l'émission A l'Asso, diffusée sur Radio Campus; et ses activités sont commentées par plusieurs média. Plus d'informations ici.

Le Pôle Finances, en collaboration avec le Secrétariat, nous a permis de collecter environ 2 940€:
Nous organisons de nombreux fundraisings; notamment: Brunch (ici), vente de cupcakes et barbecues à l'occasion de la Fête de la Cité 2011 (ici), vente de cookies (ici), vente de cupcakes pour la Fête de la Cité 2010, petit-déjeuner français.
Nous avons également bénéficié de subventions, telles que celle du Fonds d'Initiatives Etudiantes de la Cité Universitaire.
Ces fonds sont destinés au financement de notre donation à Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (1€ pour chaque livre que nous collectons dans le cadre de notre projet Des Livres pour Haïti), à notre campagne de communication, et aux frais de notre projet Diversité à l'Ecole.

Get a quick glimpse of Biblion Project's activities in the years 2010-2011! Here are some fast facts for our activities since our creation in March 2010, until September 2011.
As part of our Books for Haïti project:
- During our 3rd textbooks collection at the CIUP, we have collected more than 900 textbooks - which have been handed to Bibliothèques Sans Frontières in august of 2012. More information here.
- Biblion Project took part into the Bourse aux Livres (Books Auction) organized by the Library of the CIUP during the 2012 Fête de la Cité. More information here.
- The Brunch organized on the 11th February 2012 at the Sugarplum Cake Shop allowed us to gather 240€ with the help of about 40 guests; which means 240 books sent to Haïti! More information here.
- During our Action Day in November 2011 at the Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (BSF) warehouse, we sorted 5000 books to be sent to Haïti, and selected 1300 university textbooks for the Center of Reading and Cultural Animation of Yaoundé. More information here.
- The 2011 Collection Campagne enabled us to gather 2 660 books from the residents, donators and the Library of the Cité Internationale Universitaire de Paris. Our partner Libraries Without Borders will receive from us a 1000€ donation to fund shipping. More information here.
- During our Action Day in February 2011 at the BSF warehouse, we sorted several thousands of books and selected 2 000 books for Haitian libraries in March, in accordance with their requests. More information here.
- The 2010 Collection Campagne at the Cité Universitaire allowed us to collect more than 1000 books; in addition with 1000€ gathered thanks to our fundraising operations and destined to the shipping of the books.
In the frame of our Diversity Awareness project:
A pilot session has been launched in a new partner school in June of 2012: will the project count with two new classes in September? More information here.
From January to June of 2012, four classes of primary schools could discover the United States in February (here), India in March (here), Cameroon in April-May (here), and Russia in June (here).
From March to May of 2011, three series of workshops placed volunteers in front of students to present the cultures of Latin America - Venezuela, Chile and Mexico - followed by Senegal (here), and finally China (here).
The Communication Pole has organized several events:
The Intercultural Meetings keep going, with our Night in Spanish in July of 2012 at the tapas bar Les Piétons. More infos here.
In the frame of its Intercultural Meetings, Biblion Project organized a Night Out in English in May of 2012: a French/English linguistic exchange night out at the Great Canadian Pub. More infos here.
In March 2012, Biblion Project launches the first Intercultural Meeting: a party at the headquarters of the association, for all our volunteers and their guests to share a good time while celebrating the success of the Diversity at School project. More information here.
In collaboration with the Books for Haïti project, we organized a Conference on Haïti at the Library of the Cité Universitaire at the occasion of the Fête de la Cité 2011. More informations here.
Biblion Project was invited in March of 2011 on the student-radio program A l'Asso, broadcasted by Radio Campus, and its activities are picked up by several media. More information here.

The Financial Pole, in collaboration with the Secretary, raised 2 940 euros:
We organized many thanks fundraising events: a Brunch (here), cupcakes and BBQ sale for the Fête de la Cité 2011 (here), cookies sale (here), cupcakes sale for the 2010 Fête de la Cité, French breakfast sale.
We have also benefited from grants, such as the one of the Fonds d'Initiatives Etudiantes of the Cité Universitaire.
Funds raised are used to cover our operations: to send books overseas in partnership with Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (1€ for each book we collect in the frame of our Books for Haïti project), and to support our Diversity at School project.
