Biblion Project organise un brunch dans le plus fameux cupcake shop du Quartier Latin: le Sugarplum!
Venez goûter à de délicieuses douceurs "made in England", rencontrer des étudiants venus de tous les horizons - les Anglais et les Américains sont à l'honneur! - et nous aider à récolter des fonds dans le cadre de notre projet Des Livres pour Haïti.
Le semestre dernier, Biblion Project a collecté 2600 livres universitaires destinés à des bibliothèques et des universités en Haïti, en partenariat avec Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (plus d'infos ici).
Afin de payer l'envoi de ces livres, nous avons besoin d'1€ par livre. Nous disposons déjà de 1000€, et espérons faire encore mieux grâce à vous!
En achetant un ticket pour ce brunch à 12€, vous nous permettez de collecter 6€; soit 6 livres envoyés aux étudiants haïtiens grâce à vous!
Mais pourquoi ne penser qu'aux bons sentiments? Suivez plutôt votre instinct gourmand en vous régalant de 5 petits gâteaux faits maison, et de thé, café et jus de fruit bios à volonté tout en passant un bon moment avec vos amis et en pratiquant votre anglais!
De nombreuses animations sont prévues dans la matinée:
- une tombola qui désignera 3 gagnants de prix luxueux (beaux livres) ou délicieux (bouteilles de vin) parmi nos invités;
- une exposition de photos, un mini-concert... Vous en saurez plus très vite!

Pour une bonne organisation, nous devons vendre les tickets à l'avance - jusqu'au 10 février. Vous pourrez acheter votre ticket:

Biblion Project organises a brunch in the Latin District's most famous cupcake shop: The Sugarplum Cake Shop!
Come and taste some delicious muffins/cakes and scones "made in England", meet students from all over the world - English, American, French, Chilean, Mauritian.. - and help us collect funds for our Books for Haïti project.
Last semester, Biblion Project collected 2 600 universitarian books to be sent to libraries and universities in Haïti, in partnership with Bibliothèques Sans Frontières (more information here )
In order to pay for the shipping of these books, we need €1 per book. We have already gathered €1 000 so far, and hope to do even better with your help!
By buying a €12 ticket for our brunch, you allow us to collect €6; that is, 6 books sent in Haïti thanks to you!
But it's not just about being charitable... Follow your sweet tooth's instinct and enjoy your pick of six little home-made cakes, as well as organic and fair trade tea, coffee and fruit juice while having a good time with your friends and practicing your french!
Entertainment during the Brunch includes:
- a prize draw where three of our guests will become the winners of beautiful books or bottles of delicious French wine;
- a photos exhibition, a mini-concert... More to be announced very soon!
So buy your tickets now to join us on the 11th February! For good organization, as this is a closed event tickets will be sold in advance - until the end of January - on a first come first served basis.
